About

I’m a communications and content strategist with more than 10 years of experience in public relations, journalism, and content creation. Prior to joining the RAND Corporation as internal communication manager, I worked with nonprofits and startups to craft communications and content strategies. Her writing has appeared in The Hollywood Reporter, E! Online, The FixxEliza Magazine, and Salt Lake Magazine. My ghostwriting has appeared in The Huffington Post and the African-American Observer. I've written scripts, tweets and stories for billionaires, business titans, and Hollywood legends like Hugh Jackman, Judith Light, and Danny DeVito.

Deadlines are my love language, and I'm almost as passionate about spreadsheets as I am about storytelling. I'm an INFJ — idealistic, moral, and a really good helper. As a former college English teacher, I might care too much about writing mechanics. I'm the proud owner of a stack of style handbooks, but I'm not a jerk about it.

Don't take my word for it.

Gretta is essentially five (highly skilled) people in one. She is the person we turn to when we need quality writing and editing done quickly and expertly. Her skills as a manager on social media projects has been top-notch. And her attitude and work ethic make her an asset to every project.

Gretta is one of the most talented people I have ever had the opportunity to work with. She has an unparalleled attention to detail and has an uncanny ability to perceive any potential problems and come up with solutions long before they become an issue. Her writing is creative and always on point. Gretta is also one of the most agile people I have worked with; she is excels at almost any task and is able to work with all types of people and teams. In short, Gretta would be an invaluable asset for any team!

I have known Gretta for 16 years. I cannot say enough good things about Gretta as both a professional, teammate, and friend. Gretta is a total class act. She is one of the most intelligent women I have had the privilege of knowing and as a writer, is in my opinion unparalleled. Gretta is incredibly detail oriented in the best possible way. She is self motivated and always dependable. She holds herself to total accountability in the quality of her work and is open to taking on new challenges with a can do attitude. Be it, her project management skills, copy writing/editing talent, PR and communications management or executive level decision making she is truly a rare and incredible asset to any project. I cannot give a higher endorsement of her. Please feel free to contact me anytime to ask about my experience with Gretta.
