I write well so you don’t have to.
I’m an award-winning communications pro with 15+ years of experience across internal and external communications, employee engagement, public relations, journalism, and project management. Before joining RAND as an Internal Communications Manager I helped nonprofits and startups build communications strategies that actually worked.
Now, as the director of RAND’s Internal Communications, I work with executive leaders on strategic communications. I also lead a team of specialists who partner with stakeholders across the organization to produce staff-facing corporate messaging that’s effective and, when appropriate, delightful.
Deadlines are my love language and I’m as passionate about process as I am about product. As a former college English instructor, I know all about “the rules.” I also know when to break them. I’m the proud owner of a stack of style books, but I’m not a jerk about it.
Experience
My writing has appeared in The Hollywood Reporter, E! Online, Eliza Magazine, and Salt Lake Magazine. My ghostwriting has appeared in The Huffington Post and the African-American Observer. I've written for charities, thought leaders, CEOs, business titans, and Hollywood legends like Hugh Jackman, Judith Light, and Danny DeVito. I also helped coordinate public relations for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.
